Worn Items

The customer must return their items according to their rental period. If the return date falls on a Sunday or a holiday, the customer can return it the next business day.

  • Late Returns: For each day late, $75 will be deducted from the customer's security deposit. We recommend keeping the receipt from the mail courier until the return is completed.
  • Damaged Items:
    • If the dress is damaged and needs repair, we reserve the right to keep part of the security deposit for repair costs
    • If the dress is damaged beyond repair, we reserve the right to not return the security deposit and will return the dress back to you.
  • Return Shipping: A return label will be emailed to the customer once the item has been shipped. Simply place this label over the original shipping label. To promote sustainability, we highly recommend reusing the original shipping box.
  • If the rental item is not returned within 7 days after the booking period ends, it will be considered non-returned, and the customer will be charged the full retail price in addition to the original rental fee.

Unworn Items

If the customer experiences a fit or style issue with their dress, they must notify us within 24 hours of delivery. This can be done by emailing us at admin@adozenpieces.com or through the “Request a Return” page on our website.

Refund: The customer will receive a full refund minus a $50 nonrefundable fee and the shipping costs, provided the security ribbon is attached and not tampered with.

  • Security Ribbon: If the security ribbon has been removed or tampered with, the customer will be charged the regular rental fee.
  • Notification Period: If the customer does not notify us within the 24-hour timeframe, they will be charged the regular rental fee. If the 24-hour timeframe falls on a Sunday or holiday, the customer can return it the next business day. We recommend keeping the receipt from the mail courier until the return is completed.

Canceling your item

If the customer would like to cancel their order, please contact us at admin@adozenpieces.com with "Cancel Order" and the order number in the subject line.

  • Cancellation fees apply based on the proximity to the desired delivery date:
    • $30 cancellation fee for items booked 14 days or more before the desired delivery date.
    • $50 cancellation fee for items booked 10-13 days before the desired delivery date.
    • Items booked 10 days prior to the event are not eligible for cancellation.
  • Please note that A Dozen Pieces reserves the right to deny cancellation requests if the item has already been shipped.
